Jefferson Government Relations, LLC (Jefferson) provides legislative advice and counsel to a wide range of entities with an interest in transportation, including municipal governments, transportation authorities and corporations.

For almost every transportation concern, long-term success in securing federal funding requires a combination of authorization and appropriation activities. The Jefferson transportation team works concurrently to protect our clients' interest in transportation authorization bills and to secure through annual appropriations the funds our clients need to continue to thrive. We also maintain liaison with the U.S. Department of Transportation to affect policy changes not requiring statutory authority, and to assure that the intent of Congress in authorizing and appropriating funds for our clients is carried out in a timely fashion.
