Jeanne Morin is a Principal and founding partner of Jefferson Government Relations, LLC (Jefferson). She has extensive experience in legislative and regulatory issues affecting small businesses, non-profit associations and federally recognized Indian tribes.

At Jefferson, Ms. Morin assists clients in identifying legislative and policy proposals that will affect their interests. She then works to formulate and implement strategic initiatives to positively influence those issues through the legislative and regulatory processes. Much of Ms. Morin's work is focused on the issues faced by Indian tribes, where she continues to work to protect the interests of tribes engaged in Indian gaming from the legislative and regulatory assault to limit the sovereign right of tribal governments to conduct gaming on Indian lands.

Ms. Morin was a Senior Executive and Shareholder of The Jefferson Group, Inc., the predecessor to Jefferson. Previous to TJG, Ms. Morin worked on the House Committee on Small Business where, as Minority Policy Director, she participated in drafting legislation to increase the flow of capital to smaller firms. Previously, Ms. Morin served as Executive Director of the National Association of Development Companies, a trade group of small business lenders, where she gained valuable expertise in trade association management.

As a small business lobbyist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Morin helped design and enact pro-small business legislation to open export markets and federal procurement opportunities to small and emerging growth firms.

Ms. Morin received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut.
